Sql Database Specialist - Dba

Database Development & Administration (Information & Communication Technology) Our client is a niche financial services firm, and they're currently seeking a SQL Specialist to join their team in Sydney. Reporting to the Cloud & Networking Lead, you'll need to install, configure, and maintain SQL database systems to ensure optimal performance. You'll manage the cloud IaaS & PaaS configuration, and ensure the performance and integrity, all SQL & Cosmos databases You'll also monitor database performance, implement protocols and access controls, and ensure overall data security. SQL databases within this organisation sit on Azure cloud. To be successful in this role you will need: Proven experience as a SQL DBA similar roleKnowledge of SQL Server tools including SSISThe ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.Experience with SQL on Azure is essentialFamiliarity with performance tuning and optimisationUnderstanding of database securitySQL and Azure Certification would be highly regarded Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
