SECRET clearance IAW with the provisions of the NISPOM (DoD 5220.22-M) Experience/Skills Required
2+ years of experience in general electronic preventive and corrective maintenance of HF, LF, VHF, or ELF CE Read schematic diagrams Operate a variety of test instrumentation Apply electronics theory to maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, align, and repair CE systems Primary Duties
Apply technical knowledge to solve complex technical problems Perform preventive maintenance on ground communication systems and related equipment (power supplies, loads, antennas, test instruments, etc.) Replace defective subsystems and components Perform communication system operational testing Perform communication systems diagnostic testing Repair, overhaul radio communications and related equipment Tune, adjust, align, and calibrate radio communications equipment and related equipment Generate and post entries in maintenance and inspection records Complete maintenance data collection forms Additional Duties
Available for irregular work hours Able to respond to emergency calls 24/7/365 Qualifications Internal Minimum Qualifications: Lead: HS 12+, AA 10+, BS 8+, MS 6+, PhD 4+ Principle: HS 10+, AA 8+, BS 6+, MS 4+, PhD 2+ Senior: HS 8+, AA 6+, BS 4+, MS 2+, PhD 0+ Junior: HS 6+, AA 4+, BS 2+, MS 0+ Satisfy CSWF 8140.01 Code 441 (Intermediate) requirements U.S. Navy Electronics Technician "A" or "C" School or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school Documentation including course content required Additional Information Relocation reimbursement
