Spray Painter

We are currently looking for and enthusiastic trade qualified Spray painter to join our team based from north western Sydney.
Special-T Operations Pty Ltd are a commercial and industrial spray-painting company specialising in factory and on-site paint finishes.
This is an opportunity to join a great family business and set a career path within the commercial spray-painting industry throughout Sydney.
We paint a large variety of items and finishes including but not limited to custom metal work, timber, MDF joinery, kitchens, & plastic.
Experience in these fields would be beneficial
Applicants must be available for overtime and Saturday work.

What you need

Prior knowledge or willingness to learn the following aspects of our business
Kitchen, MDF, and joinery.
Steel coatings, bespoke metal finishes.The associated application equipment, materials, and application techniques.Hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal.
Preparation and application of polyurethane paints, stains, surface preparation materials, applying these to a wide variety of surfaces.
Operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment, including, sprayers and electrostatic sprayers, pumps, etc.Clean and maintain the workshop in a tidy fashion.
Ability to train and manage junior staff.Safely store and labels all materials.Forklift licence
