Reporting to the Site Manager, this hands-on role involves maintaining and enhancing turf areas, implementing sustainable practices, and delivering exceptional turf results whilst working amongst some of the most prestigious landscapes within the Eastern Suburbs.

Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing practices, weed control and nutrition management to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces.Monitor turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies, and pest management techniques.Operate and maintain specialised turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.Transitioning turf surfaces across multiple sporting codes.Line marking operations.Irrigation monitoring and maintenance.Collaborate with the Site manager to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritise tasks, and deliver exceptional results.Communicate effectively with Site manager to understand expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.Benefits Receive Above Award rates for your expertise.Access prerequisite training to excel in your role.Enjoy a supplied uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE).Engage in social events fostering team camaraderie.Thrive in a supportive management team and fantastic team culture.About You Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.Cricket Wicket experience (desirable).Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field preferred.Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, irrigation systems and maintenance requirements.Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery operations, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers.Valid Drivers Licence.White Card or willingness to obtain.Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.AQF3 Chemical Accreditation (desirable).Ongoing safety training programs and resources available.Our Team & Culture Discover Green by Nature, our purpose is to enhance lives by constructing, nurturing, and maintaining exceptional green spaces.
