The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person, right here in South East Sydney.
From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords… whatever you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too.
As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in your community.
Our Client in Sutherland is seeking a social visitor. This role would suit a sports fan as our client enjoys Golf, Cricket, AFL (he is a Collingwood supporter), and Reading. He would enjoy the company of a 'mate' who he could sit and chat with over a coffee (or maybe a beer) at a local venue. Your Impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

RequirementsWe'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
