We are seeking a passionate and organised individual to join our Sport Department as Sports Coordinator & Duke of Edinburgh's Award Coordinator. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the administration and delivery of both junior school sport programs and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The role includes working on Saturdays to support weekend sports and related activities, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Sports Coordinator Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Sport with planning and delivering a broad range of sport programs across the schoolOrganise, promote, and manage Junior School Sport programs, including casual sport coach management, administration, and competition logisticsCoordinate House Sport carnivals and other sporting eventsProvide administrative support for all school sports-related activitiesEnsure the smooth operation of all sport initiatives, including weekend sports events and competitionsDuke of Edinburgh's Award Coordinator Responsibilities:
Oversee the Duke of Edinburgh's Award program, including the coordination of adventurous journeys through external providers, and related activitiesLiaise with students, parents, staff and external providers to ensure the successful implementation of the AwardConduct risk assessments and manage health and safety requirements for all Award-related activitiesKey Skills and Experience:
Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skillsExperience in managing or coordinating sports programs and/or cocurricular activitiesAbility to work collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and external providersFamiliarity with safety protocols, risk assessments, and compliance standardsPassion for fostering student growth and well-being through sport and adventureFlexibility to work on Saturdays as part of the full-time roleTo Apply: Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume.
