THE OPPORTUNITY Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the Sports Bar and TAB department, including complying with regulatory requirements and company policies & procedures.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support staff in delivering exceptional service. Communicate policies and goals clearly to the team. Foster teamwork and uphold dress code standards. Recognize and commend high performance. Conduct annual performance reviews and provide feedback. Identify training needs and develop training plans. Manage performance improvement plans with HR support. Oversee roster management and recruitment needs. Customer Service Uphold Tabcorp Park Customer Service Standards. Monitor and enhance customer service quality. Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively. Maintain a customer-focused operational approach. Operations Identify revenue opportunities and ensure outstanding service in the Sports Bar. Plan and prioritize tasks to meet patron needs and maintain standards. Ensure compliance with TAB, RSA, AML, and VCGLR regulations. Uphold all safety, hygiene, and presentation standards. Implement venue business plans and drive continuous improvement. Financial Management & Cash Control: Conduct accurate till and TAB reconciliations, addressing discrepancies. Monitor and manage stock control and movements. Ensure effective financial reporting and analysis. Assist in pricing strategies based on market analysis. Strategy and Sales Innovation: Drive sales initiatives for TAB and bar performance improvement. Develop promotions and a customer loyalty program. Manage marketing campaigns and promote special events. Organize big screen viewing schedules and establish supplier partnerships. Qualifications TAB Advanced & Cash Control • RSA • RSG • Gaming Licence • AML • Drivers Licence (May be required to drive Courtesy Bus) • Food Handlers Certificate • Fork Lift licence (optional) • Up to date with Fire and Evacuation procedure • First Aid & CPR AVAILABILITY Must be available to work a rotating roster including days, nights, weekends and all major events.
