About the Role:
The Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise are currently seeking an energetic, motivated and service driven Duty Manager to lead the team in Shooeys Sports Bar . In this role, the primary responsibilities will be to assist with the day-to-day operations of the business and ensure smooth operations between the entertainment, food and beverage functions to ensure customers have an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the delivery of excellent customer service Managing Shooeys Sports Bar functions by having a strong understanding of entertainment and events Maintaining knowledge of venue compliance, regulations and venue operations Training, motivating and continual staff development Developing creative promotions and venue initiatives Improving staff knowledge and skillset to improve on customer engagement Managing the venue's appearance and atmosphere About you: Previous managerial experience is ideal Gaming experience is necessary Willing to work rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays Highly motivated and an exceptional self-starter Lead by example with strong leadership and communication skills High level of customer service skills in a variety of hospitality offerings Current RSA and RSG accreditation Experience in high volume venues and large-scale events Experience dealing with licensing and compliance A police check will be required for this role Your application will include the following questions:
