Your new role Join Rockhampton Regional Council as a Sports and Active Community Advisor to foster growth, sustainability, and vibrancy within our active communities. You will play an instrumental part in enhancing the sports and recreation landscape, working directly with sporting clubs, community organisations, and government bodies.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for active community engagement and a commitment to developing spaces that encourage sports, recreation, and wellness.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Proactive and community-minded professional who will bring strategic vision and attention to detail. Exceptional communication and customer service skills are essential to interact with sporting and community groups, council members, and other public entities. Collaborative approach to support the delivery of sport and recreation related projects. Proven flexibility in adapting methods to suit immediate needs or stakeholder feedback, and how you have integrated these into practical and actionable solutions. Demonstrated ability to engage & interact with sporting and community groups, council members, and other public entities.
