As part of Brisbane Powerhouse's Melt Festival of Queer Arts and Culture, we're seeking volunteers to help bring to life Spencer Tunick's breathtaking installation on 27 October 2024. Imagine being at the heart of an event that will capture international attention, celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion in a way the world has never seen before.

We need dedicated volunteers to assist in various roles, from wayfinding and communications to participant check-in and general support. Your contribution will ensure this monumental project, featuring thousands of live nude figures, runs smoothly and makes history.

To join us, you must: Be over 18 years old and available to work from 12 AM to 10 AM on Sunday, October 27, 2024.Attend a briefing session (online or in-person) in the week leading up to the event.Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse teams and the public.Understand and value gender diversity, respect, equality, and inclusion.Be committed to safe work practices, following instructions, and implementing safety protocols.Have a strong work ethic, patience, and the ability to work effectively within a team.Be a part of the LGBTQIA+ community or a dedicated ally. Important Details: You must be available from 12 to 10 AM on October 27, 2024. Participants will arrive around 2 AM; the first photo is expected at 4:45 AM. A briefing session with flexible attendance options is required the week before the event.
