Speech Pathology Team Leader

The ORS Speech Pathology team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Team Leader or Senior Speech Practitioner to join the team in ACT! You will join a national team of 60+ Speech Pathologists in our NDIS division providing clinical services to participants aged 0-65. You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent, and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses, and disability types.
Your role will be to provide clinical support to develop independence when working in a complex NDIS caseload. You will be supported by your Regional Manager to provide operational support to your team.
You will be required to manage a small complex clinical caseload in the areas of communication and/or swallowing and will be able to access clinical supervision to continue your professional development.
At ORS, we encourage our leaders to be proactive in developing the team culture and team scope within their area. You will be supported to develop appropriate leadership skills through our internal supervision program and Management Mentoring training series.
The type of assessments and interventions you and the team will provide include:
Communication AssessmentsSwallowing and Paediatric Feeding (Dysphagia) AssessmentsMealtime Management Plan development and reviewsAugmentative and Alternative Communication AssessmentsOngoing therapyYou will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth, and ORS offices.
