About the role
The Speech Pathology Manager leads a high performing Speech Pathology service across inpatient and community settings. The role provides leadership and clinical oversight as part of an integrated multidisciplinary healthcare team, for people who access services at all South West Healthcare campuses. Speech Pathology services are provided to groups and individuals of all ages, across a range of acute, subacute and community programs. The Speech Pathology Manager role also has operational oversight over the School Readiness / Speech Pathology in Schools Programs and the Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS).
The position is permanent full-time (80 hours per fortnight with ADO).

As a qualified Speech Pathologist with extensive clinical experience, you will have an engaging and collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of contemporary Speech Pathology practice across health, community and education sectors. You will possess great drive and passion for working effectively in interdisciplinary teams and willingness to enhance your leadership skills within our broader Primary and Community Services Directorate.
