We're excited to announce the opening of a recruitment pool for our Telethon funded services; the In-home Baby Intervention Service (IBIS) and Early Mealtime Service (EMS). Successful applicants will be considered for the positions commencing January 2025, subject to receiving additional funding from Telethon to support the expansion of these services in 2025.

These positions are based across our Coolbinia, Wanneroo and Murdoch hubs. They are Fixed Term Contracts (12 months) with the potential for extension subject to Telethon funding. About IBIS and EMS IBIS provides in-home Early Intervention services to infants (up to 24 months), who have been identified as being at risk of neurodevelopmental delay. The Early Mealtime Service (EMS) supports children aged 0-5 years who are having mealtime difficulties. IBIS and EMS are highly regarded for providing high quality, evidence-based services and support from an experienced team of therapists.
The Clinical Lead Speech Pathologists roles involve being a part of a multi-disciplinary therapy team ensuring quality clinical expertise in delivering contemporary clinical services to infants and young children. The roles may also involve supporting these customers and their families when eligible to transition to NDIS therapy services. You will be supported in this role by the IBIS/EMS Team Leaders.

Minimum 5 years experience in Speech Pathology including experience working with children under the age of 2A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current SPA registrationStrong understanding of contemporary, disability-specific therapy supports, including assessments, interventions, reporting, and case managementOutcomes-focused, with an evidence-based approach to service delivery and documentation that meets funding requirements.Effective team player, collaborating and contributing to business goals, while mentoring peers and sharing expertise.Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance no older than 6 months, Current Driver's License, NDIS Workers Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening check, Current First Aid Certificate and COVID-19 Vaccination CertificateAt Ability WA, we care about finding the right people to join us hence encourage you to apply even if you don't meet 100% of our selection requirements.
