We specialise in the areas of:First Nations People (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders)Rural and Remote Service DeliveryNDIS Service Delivery – providing Support Coordination and Plan Management ServicesAllied Health Service Delivery – Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and Physiotherapist – through our Western Cape Hub (Weipa), servicing surrounding local communities.Position Description:In this role you will work collaboratively with NDIS participants, private clients and stakeholders to deliver person-centered services to enhance participation and independence, empowering people to live a full life and achieve their speech and language goals.
We are looking for someone with experience in the delivery of speech pathology services within a disability sector context, with the ability to develop individualised strategies and clinical management plans that are responsive to the person's needs and in line with their goals.
You will have a positive attitude and be adaptive and flexible to the changing needs of clients, NDIS and the organisation.
Throughout your work you will build on delivering a tailored service, and where challenges arise, you will approach them collaboratively, in partnership with families, carers, teachers, and colleagues.Qualifications & Experience:• Current AHPRA Registration• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology• Minimum 12 months experience working in a Speech Pathologist role• Criminal History Check• Yellow Card• Blue Card• First Aid Certificate or willingness to complete• Current Australian Driver's License• Cultural Awareness Training or willingness to participateJob Type: Permanent – Full timeAfter Hours Requirements: NoSalary Information: Negotiable (Based on Experience & Qualifications) $85,000-$110,000About Weipa: Weipa is a vibrant and sustainable coastal community of approximately 4,000 people, located on Albatross Bay on the west coast of Cape York Peninsula.
