Job Title:Speech Pathologist/Therapist - Bundaberg
About the Role:
This Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation is seeking an accredited and registered Speech Therapist/Pathologist for their Allied Health Professional team who areinvolved in primary/clinical care services delivered by the organisation. This position is suitable for either an experienced Speech Therapist/Pathologist or a newgraduate.

This organisation is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation that delivers services without discrimination to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.
Duties: Formal and informal assessment and treatment of children and adolescents.
Collaboration with family and other stakeholders to develop individualised and family-centred treatment plans that incorporate a holistic view of the client.
Managing a varied and complex clinical caseload independently and to a high standard.
Participation in team meetings.
Personal Skills Required: High level communication skills.
Good health and physically fit.
Reliable and organised.
Sound problem-solving skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Genuine interest in people and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Skills & Experience: Bachelor/Master of Speech pathology.

Key Requirements: Current AHPRA Registration or ability to obtain.
A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain.
AFirst Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
Complete COVID-19 Vaccination Status (as per IWC Policy)
A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.
A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.
* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate. Salary Package: Your Salary Package is made up of the following:
Salary Sacrifice Packaging is valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding up to $4,000 to your take-home pay.
Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum.
CPD Allowance.
Professional Insurance.
9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff).
Superannuation is valued at 10.5%.
Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%
