This position is suitable for either an experienced Speech Therapist/Pathologist or a new graduate. DUTIES: Formal and informal assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. Collaboration with family and other stakeholders to develop individualised and family-centred treatment plans that incorporate a holistic view of the client. Managing a varied and complex clinical caseload independently and to a high standard. Participation in team meetings. PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIRED High-level communication skills. Good health and physically fit. Reliable and organised. Sound problem-solving skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Genuine interest in people and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: New Grads are encouraged to apply! No previous experience is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor/Master of Speech Pathology. Current professional registration or ability to obtain. A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain. A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain. A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain. A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain. * No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate. SALARY PACKAGE: Your Salary Package is made up of the following: - Salary Sacrifice Packaging is valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding up to $4,000 to your take-home pay. Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum. 10% Commission. Professional Insurance. 9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff). Superannuation is valued at 11%.
