Working in a culturally diverse environment, providing a contemporary, evidence-based speech pathology service, including assessment, treatment planning and evaluation, for people presenting with a wide range of conditions and syndromes, with a focus on dysphagia and swallowing disorders Working with clients and their representatives to identify individualised goals and preferences Selecting, developing, and tailoring augmentative and alternative communication systems, programs, and resources for participants with communication needs Is this the right role for you?
Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology Current Certification with Speech Pathology Australia Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with adult caseload Experience in the delivery of speech pathology services within a disability sector context, with a focus on dysphagia and swallowing disorders Well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills Demonstrated clinical competency and experience in conducting assessments and writing high quality individualised assessment and program reports NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
