Speech Pathologist - Senior (Head to Health Kids)The primary focus of this role is to provide high level clinical speech pathology services to children under 12 years presenting with mental health and wellbeing needs that are impacting on their overall function. Based in Pimpama and Varsity Lakes.
An opportunity has become available for a Speech Pathologist - Senior (Head to Health Kids) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Provide a high level of evidence based speech pathology for both routine and complex cases in order to achieve positive clinical outcomesWork cooperatively and effectively within the departmental and multidisciplinary teams, across multiple sites and with clients and their families to provide high quality careProvide clinical support to other speech pathologists and clinical practice supervision to less experienced speech pathologists and studentsManage a portfolio consistent with skill level and level of practice.About you To be successful in this position you will require:
A tertiary degree in Speech PathologyBlue card / Working with children check (GCH will cover cost)Drivers LicenceEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Base salary ranging from $124 435 - $133 901 per annumAbout Us Head to Health Kids-Queensland Gold Coast (H2HK-Q Gold Coast) is a multi-disciplinary, multi-specialty service within the Gold Coast Child and Youth Mental Health Services that delivers child centred and family focused services driven by a strengths focused culture in line with the Whole Child Approach. H2HK-Q Gold Coast will provide a seamless service for children under 12 years experiencing mental health and wellbeing difficulties that effectively integrates primary, secondary, and tertiary services by working in partnership across all sectors. Based in Pimpama and Varsity Lakes.
