Details of the offer

Are you an adventure-seeking Speechie that isn't interested in a run-of-the-mill 9-to-5 job at an under-resourced desk in the city, who's looking to kickstart your career with a diverse caseload, individualised supervision, and flexible working hours?
Join the club. We've got hot pink caps and are off to the camel races this weekend.
Who are we?
We are a leading multi-disciplinary Allied Health organisation on a mission to improve health access to rural, remote, and indigenous communities. Our intrepid team have made a difference for over 30 years, across a vast 3000km of QLD & NSW and have helped countless clients achieve their goals along the way. We love debunking myths about what it means to work in rural practice and pride ourselves on our extensive experience, clinical innovation, and person-centred approach to therapy. We believe everyone should have access to exceptional in-person therapy services, no matter where they live!
What sets us apart? Our New Grad Program is revised each year by current new grads to provide superior support & flexibility, 1:1 supervision & career growth opportunities. A genuinely fun and supportive team; no need for exaggerated marketing schemes - you go rural for the career opportunities & stay for the down-to-earth culture & life-long friends you make. Attend Internal Professional Development weekends away – we take river cruises, visit vineyards, & benefit from the teachings of external national leaders in Speech Pathology & Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. Collaborate with OTs, Dietitians, Psychologists & Mental Health OTs, Exercise Physiologists, Physios and Allied Health Assistants to achieve your clients' goals. Feel supported by a team of Admin & NDIS support. Develop broad skillset & discover areas of interest you wouldn't experience in the city, through rural generalist training. Work in a multitude of work environments – in fully resourced paeds & adults clinics, via telehealth, in schools, kindies, & shearing sheds. The 2024 New Grad Program Comprehensive orientation; plus NDIS & admin training prior to taking on clients. Consistent 1:1 supervision with senior Speech Pathologist; plus additional support as required. Peer support system with those who've been through the program. Multi-disc case-conferencing to resolve complex client needs. Unrivalled remuneration; and bonus scheme. Professional development allowance, in addition to your salary to support your professional growth and maintain our clinical standards. Opportunity to design your own career pathway post New Grad Program. Limited positions located in Roma, Charleville, Dalby & Kingaroy in QLD. Who are you? You have a fun and friendly nature and want to make a difference! You're ambitious & enjoy challenging yourself and would like to use your pivotal first years of practise to open the most doors for your future. The idea of taking on a variety of Adults & Paediatrics clients excites you – covering anything from paeds feeding & AAC, to rehabilitation and Transgender voice. You are looking for an organisation that prioritises supervision, PD & team culture. You're keen to be part of a dynamic team who are passionate about what they do. You have confidence in clinical decision making & problem solving. You are willing to do day trips to our small outreach towns to achieve our organisation's 'why' … and for those interested we have overnight trips to more remote locations. You have formal qualifications in Speech Pathology, SPA membership and full legal rights of working in Australia. Why choose to live out here?
We might be biased but the lifestyle is unmatched. From the beautiful bush-walks, gorgeous rivers & camping spots; to the classic country pubs, sporting groups, close-knit communities - there's truly something for everyone. Each town has a unique vibe, and our teams all have personal reasons for loving the lifestyle & work environment; that's why we are offering a 3-day immersive experience (expenses covered) for candidates who are successful in their initial interview – so you can get to know our clinic culture & the beauty of living in the bush before making any hard-and-fast decisions.
