We currently have a position for a senior speech pathologist as well as an early career speech pathologist.
Murrumbidgee Speech Pathology was established with the aim of providing a local speech pathology service known for excellence, integrity, equality, respect, and acceptance.
This full-time (or part-time) position will be paediatric with a mixed caseload of early childhood and school-age clients with a range of communication and feeding disorders. We offer a range of service delivery options including clinic and home visits, individual and group services. This year we have run SOS Feeding Groups for both school-age and preschool clients, Sounds-Write Literacy groups, and multiple Key Word Sign workshops for parents and educators. We work closely with other local allied health providers and educators to ensure we are providing holistic, functional, and family-centered services for our families and children.
You will be joining a supportive and fun team. Our team includes two speech pathologists, an allied health assistant, and an office administrator. We enjoy team-building activities most school holidays and have regular social activities during the term.
We highly value professional development, and you will receive the opportunity to regularly attend both external and internal training.
Murrumbidgee Speech Pathology offers very flexible working arrangements, with options for flexible work days and hours, as well as working from home options.
Murrumbidgee Speech Pathology has developed very strong relationships within our local community and has a particular interest in working with children from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, and children in out-of-home care.

In our practice, we provide 1:1 therapy, run many group therapies, and community education activities. We also work within a local school which allows us to connect with more members of our local community, particularly those from low SES and indigenous backgrounds.Supports staff to explore their areas of interest and utilise their personal skills. There are also opportunities to engage in quality improvement projects and learn about different aspects of the business (e.g., Facebook posts, administrative processes, and systems).New Graduates We have a new graduate learning program which includes mentoring, self-paced learning modules, paid external professional development, scheduled internal professional development, and shadowing of more experienced staff.
