Manage a clinical case load involving the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the appropriate intervention programIntegrate speech pathology services with other Novita Services to support a multi-disciplinary approach and liaising with and engaging in decision making, client reviews, planning sessions, program conferences and other appropriate meetingsMaintain appropriate documentation and client records in line with Novita requirements and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systemsWork and liaise with carers and families, service providers and community members to enhance the quality of life and choice for children and young peopleEncourage client and family participation in program evaluation to ensure that services are relevant to the individual family's needs and priorities.Key Selection Criteria A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.Availability for occasional Saturday work preferableExperience in working in the disability sector, within an early intervention, paediatric or adult setting and working with autism spectrum disorder or clients with a physical disability diagnosisExcellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare high quality written reports, and other documentation as required.Ability to communicate effectively with children, young people, parents and staffDemonstrated exemplary customer service skillsIntegrity - honest in own behaviour and in dealings with othersEnergetic, resourceful, innovative and flexible in responding to challengesAbility to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environmentA sound understanding of person-centered thinking, the principles of NDIS and the National Disability Services Standards.We're serious about safeguarding our clients. Remuneration Package and Benefits Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000.
