Using a strengths-based approach to guide our assessment, goals and ultimately our intervention,We use a combination ofstandardised and non-standardised assessment, curated to the participants needs to guide our clinical reasoning,Delivering much needed Speech Therapy interventions to participants within the setting best matched to their goals, that could be at school, at home, work or in the community, or in our clinic space*.Collaborating with our local multi-disciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Key Workers, and Behaviour Support Practitioners.We have a diverse OT team based in our region which is comprised of Southern Sydney to the Illawarra, who each have unique caseloads tailored to their own interests and passions. We currently have clinical caseloads covering areas such as early intervention (including infants 0-12 months and feeding), paediatrics, adults, dysphagia/swallowing, AAC and psychosocial disabilities.
On a personal level, we are a dynamic bunch of clinicians who exude a passion for disability. We want to see the best in each other, just as we do our participants. We have been known to go on long beach walks, test out our new technology or having a wine at a paint and sip, or the local pub. Babies, (and fur babies) are always welcome in the office and are part of the team. Whether you are keen on coming out and spending time as a team, or your family life and home is your priority – there is a place for everyone!
About you: You've been an Speech Pathologist for at least a year preferable but open to new graduates!You've had some experience working within the disability / NDIS landscape.Passionate about Speech services to vulnerable members of the communityLooking for a fun, collaborative and supportive work environment!A driver's license and full access to a vehicleQualifications An allied health qualification in Speech and Language.Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)QualificationsAdditional InformationAs you support many, we support you!We offer: A clinical caseload that you are passionate about and fills your cup!
