As a member of our Allied Health Team, this position is key in delivering Speech Pathology services to the People we support across our Aged Care service delivery.

Part Time opportunity available working 2 days per week across our two day centres at Booragul and Belmont, with our Residential Aged Care sites and in home.
We are a dynamic team who work well together and provide exceptional support for each other and the people we support.
Must be able to work Monday OR Friday along with a Tuesday, Wednesday OR Thursday.
Role & Responsibilities: Delivering Speech Pathology services in individual and group settings focused on capacity building, maintenance, driving restorative outcomes, promoting healthy ageing, optimising quality of life, and reengagement with community activitiesConduct Speech Pathology assessment and intervention of swallowing and communication disorders using appropriate standardised, non-standardised and clinical assessment toolsProvide a high standard of clinical service that reflects and promotes evidenced based practiceSupports an appropriate case load effectively through planning, clinical prioritisation, and proactive time management skillsIdentify individual consumer's needs resulting in the development and implementation of a holistic therapy plan in consultation with the consumer, carer, relevant stakeholders, and frameworks (internal and external)Ensure plans are developed based on the goals, strengths and identified needs in consultation with consumers.
These are to be reviewed in accordance with policies and frameworks (internal and external)Participating in programs that may enhance the older persons wellbeing, quality of life and preference to remain living in their own homeConduct and complete comprehensive assessments and defined measures, and use specified data collection tools and outcome measures to record and demonstrate changes in function and to ensure consumer outcomesAbout you? Current and maintain suitability and registration as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology AustraliaSound knowledge and practical experience working with people who are ageing from an enablement, restorative and wellbeing perspective, including assessment and the delivery of evidence-based skillsUnderstanding of multidisciplinary teamworkDemonstrated ability to contribute positively to workplace cultureConfident and skilled clinician, able to engage and motivate consumers, families, staff and stakeholdersExperience and commitment to working with quality and risk management systemsYou must have the right to live and work in Australia.
