Bulleen Heights School is a Department of Education (DET) specialist school for students with autism spectrum disorder, providing exemplary educational programs for approximately 260 students aged five to eighteen years. Classes vary in size with staffing reflecting student needs. The school has two campuses: Primary and Secondary School, with students placed based on age, developmental level, and maturity.
The school provides excellent teaching programs and learning experiences designed to develop and extend the skills of each student, encouraging decision-making and risk-taking within a structured environment. Curriculum development is based on the Victorian Curriculum, assisting in the development of individual learning plans and assessment of student progress.

Providing speech pathology services that meet the needs of the students, families, and school staff.Providing speech pathology services that accord with the highest professional standard.Respecting students as individuals and promoting their welfare.Supporting educational services provided to students without teaching duties as defined by the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic).ResponsibilitiesCoordinate delivery of a range of support services across the school.Determine work priorities in alignment with school and management policy.Interpret and analyze data to provide authoritative advice to senior management.Provide training and development for staff in professional fields.Manage the delivery of professional support services, including the development of policy and operational practices.Provide leadership and training for staff in professional fields.Undertake advanced interventions for complex cases requiring cross-profession collaboration.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience, and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
