is a growing Allied Health NDIS registered business, and we are offering a unique opportunity for you to be a part of a friendly growing Speech Pathology and Allied Health team.Our aim is to provide the opportunity to build capacity within Speech Pathology and to support dedicated clinicians to accelerate their learning and their career while providing excellent services to our clients.Hearth Allied Health work closely with clients, their families, support workers and other professionals to achieve their goals.Hearth Support Services commenced in 2017 with a desire to deliver responsive, quality, hassle free disability support to clients and has now expanded to add Hearth Allied Health to promote independence and assist clients to lead fulfilling lives at home and within their community.At Hearth, we strive to be a driving force for positive change within the sector and to create an environment that nurtures and supports both our clients and employees.See video here

https://youtu.be/NL82dTRIa8IAbout the role:Caseload of NDIS clients with a variety of disabilitiesWork with children (7 yrs.+) and adults in their homes, schools / communitySupervision and support from experienced senior clinician and external mentorOpportunity to work with AAC, swallowing/dysphagia, complex communication needsWork in interdisciplinary team (OTs, speech pathologists, positive behaviour support practitioners)Continuing education and professional development opportunitiesAbout You:Qualified Speech Pathologist with energy and commitment to working with people with a disabilityMember of Speech Pathology AustraliaEnjoy working with people with complex communication needsUnderstanding of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems or willingness to learnAbility to assess and diagnose swallowing disordersAbility to work as an effective team member alongside OT, and behaviour support practitionersExcellent communication skills (written and verbal), ability to write information that is accessible for everyoneDriven to succeed and committed to continuous learningQualificationsBachelor of Speech Pathology or recognised equivalent degreeCertified practicing member of Speech Pathology AustraliaEmployee Working with Children Check/NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent driving licence and carWhy work at Hearth?Founded on lived experienceHighly supportive and committed allied health teamExperienced SupervisorDedicated leadership team with a commitment to make a differenceFlexible, family friendly workplaceNew office with great facilities and technology set upRealistic KPI'sContinuing education and generous professional development budgetProfessional Development time allocationLaptop & iPhone providedTravel reimbursedComprehensive Employee Assistance ProgramFull time
