Home Job Info Catholic Education Staff Role Description/Criteria St Christopher's Primary School is seeking to employ a speech pathologist to assist in our ongoing pursuit of "not letting any student slip through the cracks".
The position will be for three days per week beginning January 2025.
Days will be negotiable but must include a Monday.

The primary role of Speech Pathologist in our school will include assessment, ongoing therapy both individual and small group and liaising with parents and classroom teachers.
Some of the key responsibilities are: Provide in-school speech pathology screenings, diagnostic evaluations and assessment Provide small group and individual and intervention services for students Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessment, treatment and progress and communicate these to STC staff and parents Provide planning support and professional learning to teachers and LSOs in the area of speech development for children Being an active member of the Student Wellbeing Team which meets every Monday Other duties as directed by school Leadership This position is best suited to a therapist who is passionate, organised and motivated, with a desire to make a difference.
The right candidate will work well independently as well as collaboratively in teams.
The successful candidate will possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, prioritisation and organisational skills including the ability to make decisions and meet deadlines.
Experience Required Recently Registered Speech Pathologists are encouraged to apply.
Willingness to function autonomously and as part of a team Education & Qualifications A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
