Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist looking for a rewarding place to work? Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our Allied Health team on a part-time basis one day a week.
This opportunity will see you work across a diverse mix of inpatient rehabilitation cases including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning, and geriatric patients. You may also care for acute inpatients, day rehabilitation, and cardiac rehab.
As a Speech Pathologist, you will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient services and exceptional patient care.

Your duties will include: Provision of speech pathology assessment.Treatment and discharge planning for acute hospital inpatients as well as rehabilitation inpatients and day patients.Clinical documentation and report writing are to be of the highest standard.Compliance with hospital policy and procedure.Participation in audits and service improvement activities.Minimum Requirements: A degree in Speech Pathology.Previous acute hospital experience.Eligibility for membership to Speech Pathology Australia.Exceptional time management and communication skills.Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to professional development.Video Fluoroscopy Swallow Study (VFSS) and tracheostomy experience preferred but not essential.Why Healthscope?
