An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Speech Pathologist to join the Royal Darwin Hospital Speech Pathology Team. You will be working as part of a dynamic Speech Pathology Unit focusing on providing services to adult and paediatric patients within an acute hospital setting. You will have the opportunity to expand your clinical and professional skills, provide support to students and junior colleagues, and enhance your ability to service a culturally diverse population.
We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Speech Pathologist with acute hospital experience, particularly in the assessment and management of complex dysphagia (including instrumental swallow assessment) and acquired and cognitive communication disorders in adult and/or paediatric caseloads.
The clinical opportunities include upskilling in the delivery and analysis of instrumental swallow assessments (VFSS, FEES), tracheostomy and laryngectomy management, and working in multidisciplinary teams for children presenting with feeding disorders and/or cleft lip and palate conditions.
