Permanent Full Time or Part Time – Negotiable Join St.Giles as a Speech Pathologist and play a vital role in the growth of our multidisciplinary Allied Health team, offering comprehensive, Whole of Life solutions to Tasmanians living with disability.
We are looking for passionate individuals ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, adolescents, adults, and their families.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and report on communication and swallowing disorders, organise and implement treatment for participants, and work with staff and families/caregivers on possible intervention strategies.
Advocating for communication support for participants with communication difficulties.
Providing mealtime management plans and helping to improve mealtimes.
Select and utilise appropriate evidence-based practices and service delivery methods and review regularly.
St.Giles requires the following from you: Professional qualification in Speech Pathology with an active membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or a willingness to attain it.
Willingness to undertake intrastate travel to deliver services in other locations, and some outside normal hours work, as need arises.
Knowledge of NDIS and participant/family centred practices is desirable.
Current (no older than 3 months) or ability to apply for National Police Check.
Current or ability to apply for Working with Vulnerable People Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check.
