Details of the offer

Bethanie is a leading not for profit aged care provider based in Western Australia. For 70 years, we have been empowering ageing Australians to lead their most meaningful lives by recognising 'old age' as a positive force in society and giving a voice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.
We're on a mission to create a better world not just for ageing Australians, but their communities as well, and we believe that to make this difference, you need the right people by your side. We believe that's what makes us truly different!
We are currently seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our Therapy Team and support our residents with swallowing disorders at our Aged Care Homes across the South West and Peel regions, including in Bunbury, Dalyellup, Eaton and Mandurah.
If you share our passion for person centred therapy services and promoting a positive ageing experience for older people, we would love to hear from you!
As a Speech Pathologist, you will conduct assessments with residents, identifying impairments and developing interventions to support resident feeding. You will also act as a subject matter expert, advising other functions across Bethanie such as hospitality, governance and learning and development.
Our Therapy Team consists of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, a Senior Dietitian and a Senior Speech Pathologist. The Therapy Team is further supported by a full time Allied Health Manager.
