Part Time (0.8 FTE) Fixed Term February 2026 Our Allied Health Team: The Allied Health team at Mildura Base Public Hospital comprises of over 30 staff including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Social Work and Allied Health Assistants.
The Role: The Mildura Base Public Hospital Speech Pathology Department provides services across acute and sub-acute settings.
Speech Pathologists are valuable members of the Allied Health team and contribute to patient care at Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) by providing high quality speech pathology services within a multidisciplinary setting.
The role will include an allocated workload across inpatients including general medical, surgical, orthopaedics, subacute rehabilitation, ICU, paediatrics, maternity, mental health and ED.
We are able to support the opportunity for staff to specialise and consolidate skills in these areas to become clinical leaders.
There are also opportunities to work within and specialise in outpatient programs, this can be discussed further on application.

To be successful in this role, you will have: Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalentCurrent or eligible for registration as a Speech Pathologist with the Speech Pathology Association of AustraliaDemonstrated knowledge, skills and experience appropriate to a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist as applicableThe successful candidate must be available to work a rotating roster across 7 days.
This position is remunerated in line with the Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement.
