The Role A rewarding and exciting role with a stimulating and varied caseload, the purpose of this role is to provide a quality clinical program to support a range of clients and families with assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and management with a wide range of ages and communication challenges.
Duties will consist of but not be limited to the following key areas:
Manage a varied caseload to provide evidence-based speech pathology services.Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine appropriate management and advice and implement personalised treatment plans.Work and collaborate with other teams at Hear and Say and external medical and allied health stakeholders to achieve best outcomes for our clients.Complete accurate and timely documentation and reports.Adhere to quality assurance measures and organisational governance guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care is provided to clients.Roles are available in either a full-time or part-time capacity.
About You To be successful in this role, you have demonstrated experience as a Speech Pathologist (or for new graduate level, completion of a Speech Pathology degree in 2024), and have a passion for working in a collaborative and supportive multi-disciplinary team that is focused on evidence-based therapeutic interventions and good clinical outcomes for our clients. You will also possess:
Demonstrated experience in managing a complex caseload, to ensure good clinical outcomes and provide evidence-based interventions.Demonstrated ability to drive high standards in organisation, efficiency, compliance, and financial viability to support the clinical caseload allocation.Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and a passion to collaborate, support, and work in partnership with staff and teams in a cross-functional setting.A willingness to promote a culture that is open, agile, and generous.Candidates will require relevant qualifications and be a full member of Speech Pathology Australia or be able to obtain. In addition, candidates will be required to obtain a Disability Worker Screening clearance (Yellow card) and Working with Children check (Blue card) prior to commencement, along with the ability to obtain a Medicare Provider number. A current open driver's licence is highly desirable, as is the ability to travel to other sites or undertake outreach work as required.
