Our team offers specialized services for adolescents and adults with acquired and developmental communication and swallowing disorders. Based in our modern, state-of-the-art consulting suites in Mona Vale, MLSP has built a stellar reputation over 25 years. In addition to a company-issued phone and iPad, you'll have access to a comprehensive range of resources and apps, along with the latest high- and low-tech AAC systems and accessibility tools, including advanced eye gaze technology.
MLSP offers comprehensive treatment across a range of settings, including our offices, homes, private hospitals, day programs, and numerous aged care facilities throughout Sydney's North Shore and Northern Beaches. We provide telehealth services to clients in regional areas across Australia. In addition, we deliver a diverse range of group programs, educational packages, and clinical education for undergraduate Speech Pathologists.

We have an administrative team on hand and our generous remuneration packages include car allowance.
THE ROLE The successful applicant will be welcomed into our supportive and collaborative team of 9 Speech Pathologists, based in our office suites in Mona Vale. In this role, you'll provide a blend of individual, group, and telehealth services, delivering care from our well-equipped clinic and within the vibrant communities across Sydney's stunning North Shore and Northern Beaches.
You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of adult and adolescent clients, assessing and treating conditions such as acquired brain injury (ABI), dysphagia, stroke, Parkinson's disease, primary progressive aphasia (PPA), ASD, developmental disabilities, MND, head and neck cancers, and voice disorders.
Our highly experienced and friendly team will provide close mentoring to support your professional growth. You'll also have opportunities to engage in student education, present to fellow health professionals, lead client group sessions, and contribute to our in-house professional development programs.
A typical day might include a home visit to a client before heading in to the office for a coffee with the team and then leading a social group. Following this, you may have a clinical supervision session before lunch. The afternoon might involve heading off to an aged care facility for a few dysphagia reviews.
