Speech & Language Therapist - Lancashire
Salary: £43,585 - £49,119 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join their multidisciplinary team as a Speech & Language Therapist, offering person-centred support and life-changing outcomes.
About the Role As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist assessment and interventions, helping individuals regain essential skills and achieve personal goals. Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will use your expertise to develop, implement, and evaluate tailored rehabilitation programmes. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive environment with excellent training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Practice:
Provide evidence-based, person-centred care to individuals with complex needs, including communication difficulties and dysphagia.
Manage a caseload autonomously with supervision as needed for complex cases.
Develop and implement care plans, rehabilitation goals, and training programmes for communication partners.
Assess and manage risks effectively, maintaining professional accountability. Collaboration & Mentorship:
Work closely with therapy, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive care.
Supervise and mentor junior team members, volunteers, assistants, and students. Professional Development:
Stay abreast of best practices and current research in neurorehabilitation and speech and language therapy.
Apply innovative models of practice to ensure optimal outcomes for individuals. Experience, Skills, and Qualifications Essential:
* Degree in Speech & Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
* Experience managing dysphagia cases.
* Knowledge of neurorehabilitation models, clinical reasoning, and outcome measures.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational and IT skills.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in neurorehabilitation or a relevant healthcare setting.
