Speech and Language Needs Support (SpLN)Leeds Primary SchoolASAP StartFull-TimeNextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a School in Leeds (LS12) who are looking for a Speech and Language Classroom Support to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with their learning and be able to direct, guide and assist them with their speech and language.This role will be supporting children across early years and key stage 1.Speech and Language Classroom Support Roles and Responsibilities:Support the students with their learning and daily routines by encouraging clear and concise language and communication.Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing behaviour, promoting respect, ensuring the safety of all students and differentiating the deliverance of the learning.Support the students with their speech and language by using tailored techniques in the classroom, as well as help support them with their learning.Evaluate pupil progress through various assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey, both to the pupil and other staff, and maintain clear communication with parents/carers.If you are interested in this position and would like to discuss further, please contact Mollie Smith at NextGen Teachers.
