Cloud Engineer – Cloud Program. Take your cloud engineering expertise to new heights with this opportunity to work on a cutting-edge program delivering outcomes for our Complex Fed Govt client. This role involves designing and implementing secure cloud solutions as part of an unprecedented initiative with significant impact and innovation. Interstate-based candidates will be considered, with the role requiring a Positive Vetting (PV) clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design secure, cloud-based technical services, products, and solutions aligned with user and technical requirements. Implement Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for solution evaluation, including replicating production environments. Collaborate with agencies to integrate current state architectures into cloud designs and align with emerging technologies such as Zero Trust Architecture. Provide clear and concise cloud technical guidance to stakeholders, including program management and cloud providers. Key Criteria:
Essential: Demonstrated ability to fulfill the key duties and responsibilities of the role. Highly organised, dynamic, and results-driven approach. Strong organisational and communication skills. Desirable: Industry certifications, particularly in AWS. Experience with cloud identity management.
Location: Canberra - Interstate-based candidates will be considered.
Contract Duration: 12 months with 2 x 12-month extension options.
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV clearance to perform this role.
