Experience it here.About the Program:AIR6500 is the RAAF's $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems.
AIR6500 will create a fully networked 'system of systems' that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace.About the role:The primary responsibility of the Senior Subcontract Administrator is to develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialised materials, equipment, and services.
You will prepare bid packages, conduct bidder conferences, analyse and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts.
The role will also involve negotiating and coordinating additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts and participating with contract administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.Other day-to-day tasks include:Contribute to the development and coordination of draft subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of materials/products and services including:RFQs and RFIsBid packages/quotationsTask Priced/Survey & Quote ServicesPre-Authorised Ad Hoc Services ordersProposal analysis and evaluationSelecting/recommending subcontractorsNegotiating subcontract provisionsWriting draft contract change proposals/tasking instructions resulting in subcontracts or tasking artefactsManagement and coordination of the provision of services from primary Subcontractor for the ProgramContribute to the development of supplier relationships in support of current and future AIR6500 supply chain requirements in line with the relevant phases of the ProgramOversee and support monthly internal and external subcontractor performance reportingUndertake and support subcontractor invoice/task management, including status reporting and invoicing transactions; including finance business activitiesAbout you:Significant experience in a similar role performing subcontract management activities (i.e., subcontract development, negotiation, and management).Experience in one or more of the following would be highly regarded:Significant understanding and application of contracting and procurement principles, concepts, practices, and standards.Significant knowledge of Intellectual Property and Australian Industry Involvement activities.Significant experience in contract, legal and/or procurement administration.How we reward & support you:When you join Lockheed Martin, you work on projects you won't experience anywhere else.
