About the Role As a Specialist Plan Manager , you'll play a vital role in empowering participants to use their plans effectively to achieve their goals, and junior colleagues to grow. With a strong focus on payment assurance , compliance, and customer engagement, you'll drive excellence across all aspects of plan management. Additionally, you'll provide technical advice to team members and executives around new payment rules and NDIS price guide changes , ensuring the organisation remains ahead of the curve. What You'll Do: Review and resolve complex invoice issues, including fraud and misallocation. Maintain a payment assurance mindset , ensuring all transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant. Provide advanced expenditure analysis to help participants maximise their funding and identify opportunities. Communicate effectively with participants, explaining how they can use their plans to achieve their goals. Stay ahead of NDIS price guide changes and payment rules, applying these seamlessly to workflows. Provide technical advice to team members and executives regarding updates to payment rules and price guides, supporting informed decision-making. Innovate with advanced tools to deliver high-quality reporting, automation, and invoice investigations. Handle high-stakes conversations with participants, resolving disputes and acting as a trusted advisor. Build strategic relationships with providers to resolve issues and mediate disputes. Develop and implement systems, policies, and processes to optimise plan management operations. Lead training and mentoring programs to foster a culture of excellence and collective knowledge.
