Join the Touchstone Systems team in the Southern Highlands as an Industrial Electrician. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop and further your career in the industrial electrical field. You'll gain hands-on experience and specialised training while working alongside experienced professionals to deliver high quality electrical and engineering services.
What You'll Be Doing Installing electrical & automation systems for mining, manufacturing, and utility sites. Designing and building electrical control panels. Troubleshooting and fault-finding industrial control systems. Testing and commissioning electrical installations. Mentoring apprentices and sharing your expertise. Quoting/estimating small to medium sized electrical projects. You'll work alongside a team of experienced electricians and engineers, with opportunities for training in specialised areas such as PLCs, VSDs, Functional Safety, CAD, and project management. What We're Looking For Passionate about industrial electrical work within mining, manufacturing, and utilities. Proud of their work and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes. Positive and enthusiastic, with a proactive approach to challenges. Eager to learn, grow, and further develop their skills. Experience working in a heavy industrial setting as an electrician. Customer-focused, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Team-oriented, while confident working independently. Flexible, with a willingness to work overtime when required. Requirements: Fully qualified and licensed electrician in NSW. Valid driver's license. Strong understanding of Australian Standards. Bonus Qualifications (not essential but highly regarded): Elevated Work Platform (EWP) License. Confined Space certification. Emergency First Aid/CPR certification. Working at Heights certification.
