Role Description This is a full-time role based in our Gold Coast office in Burleigh Heads with some travel around South-East Queensland depending on project requirements. We are looking for a graduate engineer with 2 years of construction or building experience. The engineer should be dedicated to delivering work that meets our clients' needs, driven to continually develop their technical abilities, and interested in improving our design systems. We expect the engineer to be based in the office, as we do not offer working from home. However, we do offer flexible hours conditional on workload and work performance.
Your Primary Responsibilities Delivering precast temporary works designs Answering precast temporary works queries Finite Element modelling in Strand 7 Coordinating and completing inspections on projects under construction Reinforced concrete design of walls and columns Reinforced and post-tensioned design on slabs Steelwork design and detailing Completing design sketches in Bluebeam Contributing to technical research and presentations Qualifications Ideally 2 years of construction or building experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required Knowledge of concrete and structural mechanics required Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, Bluebeam Experience with Strand7, RAPT, Inducta SLB, Spacegass Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Genuine interest in concrete mechanics and design automation What's in it for you?
