About the Role
As an Engineer Regional Manager located in Bunbury, you'll be working on medium-large scale building project assignments that may include large residential, office buildings, units and apartments, health care, government, and semi to high rise buildings.
Provide specialist input into structural engineering tasks, including verification of designs.
Conduct detailed structural analysis, calculations, and design using relevant software and industry standards.
Conduct site inspections to monitor works undertaken and check conditions.
Liaise with the team to maintain a knowledge and understanding of trends and technology in structural engineering.
Provide team input and leadership on technical direction for engineering elements of projects undertaken by the company.
Carry out stakeholder interaction with clients, providing recommendations for needed actions.
Collaborate with architects, design team, project managers, and other engineering professionals.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards or vulnerabilities in structures for potential impact on safety and functionality.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
CPEng or close to completion.
5+ years consulting design experience.
Strong knowledge across Australian structural engineering principles, design codes, and standards.
Background in designing structures with steel, concrete, and timber.
