We are looking for a Specification Manager to cover Vic/Tas/SA/WA.
The RoleConduct thorough market research to identify key architectural firms, specifiers, and decision-makers within the target market.Manage and build customer relationships primarily in Victoria, with oversight responsibilities in Tasmania (TAS), South Australia (SA), and Western Australia (WA).Develop and deliver engaging technical CPD presentations and in-house product demonstrations showcasing the unique advantages of our products and solutions.Provide expert technical advice and support to key influencers to ensure accurate and clear specification of our products.Consult on value-driven solutions to manage pricing discussions and value engineering for complex offerings.Build and maintain a robust pipeline by drafting technical specifications based on our distinctive performance features.Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to boost brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.Act as the main point of contact for specification-related inquiries, offering prompt and effective responses, sampling, and product knowledge support.Identify growth opportunities through industry segment analysis and tailor efforts to expand market share.Assist in developing and improving technical documentation, such as product specifications, installation guides, and case studies.Collaborate with R&D teams to assess new product innovations and improve existing products and systems.Support the Sales Manager in maintaining and expanding the customer base, identifying new opportunities, and generating leads.Manage and track specification projects from initial contact through to the project tender phase.Enhance collaboration with internal estimating, sales, marketing, technical support, and operations teams to ensure project alignment and efficiency.Provide management with regular updates and reports on project status.Skills & Experience Needed3+ years' experience in Account or Sales Management in Construction is advantageous, specifically with Roofing, Facades or Cladding backgrounds.Ability to engage and probe customers to ensure their true needs are determined and provide optimal solutions.Highly autonomous.Knowledge of commonly used building concepts in construction.Experience in lead nurturing, lead generation and appointment setting.Understanding the sales cycle with the ability to close smaller sales.Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed.Excellent computer literacy including CRM Systems.Current Australian Driver's License.Salary and BenefitsBase $110,000 - $130,000Additional superannuationCompany Vehicle or Allowance, whichever you prefer.Commission on top.Career progression opportunities.How to ApplyClick APPLY or you can send your resume in word format to .
