They are seeking a switched-on Payroll Specialist to join their team in an autonomous payroll position with support and backup.
The RoleReporting to the Assistant Manager - HR and Payroll, you will be responsible for the following:
End to end payroll processing for approximately 100 employees on a monthly basis for 6 payrollsEnsuring complete and accurate statutory reporting - STP, PAYG, Tax, Super, WorkcoverRelevant EBA and Award interpretationProcessing redundancies, terminations and onboardingReporting and budgetingProvide high quality customer service through accurate information and support to stakeholder enquiriesReconciliationsTake responsibility for the payroll systemAssist with other payroll related and HR projectsAssist with HR when requiredThe successful applicant will have:Prior experience within a similar Payroll Specialist positionExperience with Payroll Metrix is highly advantageousExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work in a team-based environmentExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent workAnalytical skills and an ability to think outside the boxWillingness to take on projectsWillingness to own the entire payroll function and systemAdditional BenefitsUp to $115 + superannuation depending on experienceFlexible working arrangementsFriendly & supportive team5% matching of salary sacrifice to superTo apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
