Departing from Perth you'll fly directly to Plutonic arriving within 90 minutes of departure.
Once on site you are accommodated in a well-established camp with great fresh food, a substantial gym, squash courts, multipurpose court, swimming pool and modern ensuite permanent rooms.The RoleReporting to the Maintenance Foreman, Specialist U/G Fitter is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of all loaders, and associated equipment along with general maintenance and repairs of underground mobile equipment.Duties include but are not limited to:Daily/weekly servicing of loaders, surface and underground including hour based servicing in the workshop.Managing LHD laydown area and Buckets and GET.Co-ordinating with Foreman on the upcoming schedule for cross-shift.Carrying out handovers with your cross-shift including inspection of all Boggers.Communicating with underground fitters regarding ongoing faults and daily servicing due.Underground fitter training and expectations of daily servicing.Carry out regular checks for daily service compliance.The ideal candidates will have:Valid and relevant Trade Certificate.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the mining industry.Experience in the use of a computerised maintenance management system.Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications.Extensive knowledge of mobile mining equipment.Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.You will receive on-going training and mentoring provided for the successful candidate who is keen to develop their skills with the opportunity for career progression.If you are ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
