In particular you will:
Design and implement inclusive and effective teaching and learning strategies to engage and improve education outcomes of supported students Collaborate with your peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school Proactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes aligned to The Alice Springs (Mparntwe) goals for young Australians Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching. About you - To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience, as well as:
Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum Commitment to child safety Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills Proven organisational skills Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment. Holy Spirit College is a Catholic co-educational secondary school located in the rapidly developing suburb of Fitzgibbon in North Brisbane, approximately 15km from Brisbane City. The College opened in January 2022 with 96 Year 7 students and will increase by one year level each year until it reaches Year 12. We currently have 335 students from years 7-9.

Yes, for primary and Religious Education teachers. Regarding a pathway to become Catholic, some employees opt to undertake the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). We support all teachers with Accreditation to Teach pathways after you start with us.
