As Specialist, Supplier Engagement, Marketing & Events at Rio Tinto, you'll be at the forefront of initiatives that elevate the contributions of our suppliers and communities.
You'll lead the charge in showcasing Rio Tinto's impact across Australia and New Zealand, from engaging with local businesses to planning and attending events that are the highlight of the Australian business calendar.

Key Responsibilities: Have a leading role in the Supplier Recognition Program : Oversee a program that celebrates our outstanding suppliers and spearheads initiatives that position Rio Tinto as the Customer of Choice in the mining and metals industry.
This includes organising our flagship West Australian gala, attended by senior leaders and key industry influencers.
SRP Alumni Association: Drive the design and implementation of our SRP Alumni Association to bring together key partners for problem-solving and innovation.
Focal Point for External Engagements: Coordinate and attend events across Australia and New Zealand, representing Rio Tinto and fostering meaningful engagement with local communities and businesses.
Champion Supplier Engagement Strategy: Support teams across Australia and New Zealand in implementing our Supplier Engagement strategy, driving sustainable business practices and local partnerships.
Collaborate with Communications Team: Work alongside the communications team to highlight stories of local engagement, community impact, and supplier excellence.
Maximise Group Impact: Partner with various teams within Rio Tinto to amplify our message and make an impact where it matters most.

This role offers a Monday-to-Friday roster based at Rio Tinto's Perth head office at the Central Park building.
