AWS Specialist Solutions Architects are typically called upon to work with our largest customers on their most technically challenging problems and you will need to be comfortable working with customer stakeholders across multiple areas of business and technology within organisationally complex structures.In terms of direct customer engagement, you will own the technical engagement as it relates to their use of Microsoft software running on AWS and are responsible for ensuring that any guidance you provide is current, architecturally sound, secure, reliable, sustainable, and cost-efficient.AWS Solutions Architects are also responsible for taking learnings from individual customer successes and scaling that knowledge more broadly through the publication of white-papers & reference architectures, or by building and presenting workshops or breakout sessions at public events such as AWS re:Invent.A day in the lifeAWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
