A great opportunity for a Specialist/Senior Specialist Paediatrician joining the team at a Northern Territory hospital for a full-time, fixed term position (up to 5 years). Key duties include:
* Providing high quality inpatient, outpatient, outreach, and retrieval clinical services in paediatrics
* Advising the Head of Paediatrics on paediatric services
* Participating in quality management activities, performance appraisal, and continuing education programs
* Supervising teaching for medical students, junior doctors, and nursing staff
* Undertaking research
* Participating in hospital committees and administrative duties
* Following service quality standards, work health and safety policies, and procedures
* Fostering a positive workplace culture through leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
