Description:
Immunopathologist Position (0.6 FTE) – Clayton Laboratory
Australian Clinical Labs (ACL) is seeking skilled and dedicated Immunopathologists to join our team of proficient medical professionals at our Clayton Laboratory, which serves as our national reference laboratory. This role focuses on providing timely, efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective diagnostic and consultation services in Immunopathology to meet the clinical needs of referrers nationally. You will work alongside a team of Immunopathologists and scientists from within our national network, fostering collaboration and expertise-sharing across ACL.

Key Competencies (Role-Specific Criteria)
Applicants will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate:

Advanced knowledge and expertise in Immunopathology: Proven skills relevant to Immunopathology, and the professionalism required for objective clinical assessments.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills: High-level skills for effective communication and collaboration across all aspects of the role.Knowledge of quality standards: Familiarity with ISO 15189 and NATA Medical Testing Requirements, ensuring continued accreditation across ACL's clinical network.
Qualifications, Registrations, and Other Requirements
Mandatory: Medical qualification with a tertiary specialization in Immunopathology (FRCPA or equivalent) and eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Specialist Pathologist.Professional Fellowship: Applicants must be a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia or hold an equivalent credential.
