As Projects Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a selection of projects within the Worsley Capital Portfolio which are well-planned and cost-effective in delivering solutions that meet business requirements, through strong leadership and collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Ensure that all projects are developed and delivered from concept to closeout in accordance with the South32 project management framework;Single point project leadership in delivering projects to approved scope, timeframes and budgetsProvide safety leadership throughout the project life cycle that is aligned to the South32 values;Ensure all project design and execution risks are identified and well managedABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Several years' experience in delivering projects of varying complexity and budget ($500k to $5M) throughout the full project lifecycle in a brownfields environment within the resources industryA sound technical knowledge and understanding of mining and resources projectsProven experience in developing and managing schedules and budgets & business financial evaluationExperienced with MS Suite and MS Project;Qualifications for this position are:
